Host Job Fair |
This SEU hosted the Cumulus Job Fair on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the i-wireless center in Moline, Illinois. Our personnel organized the event, which included participation from 40+ employers. The SEU promoted the event on-the-air, on station websites, and through The Dispatch (print ads). Employee participation included the stations sales staff, general sales managers, and the market manager/vice president, who were on hand to answer questions regarding career opportunities in broadcasting. |

Management level training regarding equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination |
On February 5, 2009, station management, including our Market Manager/Vice President and Business Manager participated in a telephonic training session on the FCC’s EEO rules as presented by the outside communications counsel for Cumulus. |

Student Tour |
On Friday, March 27, 2009, Anthony Loconsole (Tony Tone) conducted a tour of our studios and facilities for the St. Ambrose University Broadcast Technologies class. The tour lasted 45 minutes; on-air staff and sales staff members provided valuable answers to questions posed by the students. |

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Jeff Whitten (Jeff James) conducted a tour of our studios and facilities for two first grade classes from the Lincoln Academy. Each tour lasted 25 minutes; on-air staff and sales staff members provided valuable answers to questions posed by the students. |
