Nick Jonas has several TV acting credits to his name, most recently Smash. Now he has sights set on the big screen.

The Hollywood Reporter says the Jonas Brother will makes his feature film acting debut in a thriller titled Careful What You Wish For. He'll play a guy who carries on an affair with the young wife of an investment banker, his neighbor, during one summer. His life becomes complicated once the investment banker turns up dead, "revealing a substantial life insurance policy."

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen actress Isabel Lucas will play the wife. Shooting begins next month in Charlotte, North Carolina. The report doesn't mention a release date for the film.

This actually won't be Nick's first time on the big screen. The JoBros starred in the concert film Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience in 2009.
